Tom Smith – Flight Engineer
The original Secretary of S & C Thermofluids was Tom Smith. He was the father of company Director and founder Anthony Smith. Tom was also a veteran of World War 2, serving in the Royal Air Force.
Tom passed away in 2004. To coincide with the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe, Tony has released an annotated report of his father’s log book, which contains fascinating insights into the training and missions of an RAF Flight Engineer in the latter years of the war.
